RULES AND REGULATIONS

SOME GENERAL RULES & REGULATIONS RELATING TO THE USE OF THE CLUBHOUSE, SWIMMING POOLS AND FACILITIES.

(Other rules and regulations apply to a variety of situations. Full copies of all rules and regulations are available at the office.)

GILCREASE HILLS FACILITIES USE POLICIES

USE OF FACILITIES

A GH picture I.D. shall be required for admittance to and or use of all Association facilities or equipment.

A Homeowners property assessment account must be current to use any facility or equipment of the Association.

Only members of the Gilcrease Hills HOA, their family and guests may use the facilities. Guests of homeowners will be charged a fee for daily, weekly or season use of facilities, as stipulated in the Guest Pass Policy. A guest must be accompanied by a homeowner at all times. A limit may be imposed on the number of guests per member at any time to avoid over-crowding of facilities. Use of the facilities may not be assigned to non-residents.

Renters must have written approval, on file at the HOA office, from the homeowner to use facilities.

No foul language, running, fighting, yelling or rowdy behavior will be allowed in the facilities.

Homeowners, their children or guests may be removed from or suspended from use of Association facilities and equipment for infraction of the rules, regulations and or policies or for failure to follow staff directives in the use of such equipment or facilities. (See Suspension Policy.)

Sub-letting of facilities is prohibited.

No parties, functions, events or meetings, which are for the profit of an individual, business or organization will be allowed; with the exception of fund raising events for, non-profit social, civic or political organizations.

The homeowner or spouse must be present during the entire party, event or function that was arranged for private use.

ADULT LOUNGE

The Adult lounge is limited to adult use.

CHILDREN'S RECREATION ROOM

Children will be expected to use the recreation room and act in a reasonable and responsible way. Children under the age of 6 must be accompanied by a parent or sibling over the age of 12.

ATTIRE

As a matter of safety some form of footwear must be worn except in the swimming pool area. All persons will be required to wear shirts in the Clubhouse except in the coming from and going to the pool or tennis or basketball courts.

SWIMMING POOLS

Rules for the swimming pools and private pool parties are available at the office and are posted at the pools or may be obtained from the pool manager or Association offices. Guests must register and pay the established guest fee.

WEIGHT ROOM

Patrons must be 16 years of age or older to use the weight room unless accompanied by a parent during use.

TENNIS COURTS

Reservations for play may be made for a ninety minute period by calling the Club. A list of rules and regulations are available at the Clubhouse (See Tennis Court Rules & Regulations).

EQUIPMENT CHECK-OUT

Recreation equipment may be checked out by a member surrendering their I.D. card until such time as they return the equipment. Homeowners accounts will be assessed for damaged Association property or equipment damaged by the homeowner, their children or guests. Suspension from use of the facilities or equipment may be used in lieu of damage payment, as directed by the Recreation Director or General Manager.

MEETING ROOMS

The meeting rooms may be reserved by homeowners for private functions. If a homeowner wishes to use the Club after hours, an hourly fee as is established by Board resolution, is to be paid to the supervisor of the building for each hour the Club remains open. A $50.00 refundable clean-up & damage deposit is payable one week in advance of the event. Reservations must be made a week in advance and may be made up to 3 months in advance. Due to limited staff, some dates and times will be unavailable.

Room capacity restrictions must be followed.

GH ID's

The first Association picture ID is free. The subsequent issue of an ID will be assessed a fee which from time to time shall be established by Board resolution. Children are not required to have an ID until they are old enough to come to the Clubhouse or swimming pools alone.

Periodic ID checks are made of all users of Association facilities. Failure to have a valid GH ID shall be grounds for removal from Association property.

SUSPENSION POLICY

MINOR RULES VIOLATIONS WILL REQUIRE A "TIME-OUT" PERIOD OF 15 - 30 MINUTES.

PERSISTENT RULE VIOLATIONS WILL RESULT IN 1 DAY TO INDEFINITE SUSPENSION.

TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF CHILDREN WILL REQUIRE CHILD TO BRING PARENT TO MEET WITH ASSOCIATION MANAGER.

INDEFINITE SUSPENSION IS DEEMED TO BE IN EFFECT UNTIL THE HOMEOWNER APPEARS BEFORE THE GILCREASE HILLS BOARD OF DIRECTORS TO APPEAL SAID SUSPENSION.

GUEST PASS POLICY

There shall be three types of guest passes available to homeowners for their guests.

A. A $30.00 season pass will allow the entry and or use of facilities of up to four (4) guests, who are accompanied at all times by a homeowner, from the beginning of the Memorial Day weekend through the close of the Labor Day weekend or until the Gilcrease Hills swimming pools close.

B. A $5.00 pass will allow the entry and or use of facilities by one guest, who is accompanied at all times by a homeowner, for seven (7) consecutive days, which shall be so indicated on the guest pass.

C. A $2.00 pass will allow the entry and or use of facilities by one guest, who is accompanied at all times by a homeowner, for one calendar day (not a 24 hour period), which shall be so indicated on the guest pass.

Homeowners shall be restricted to sponsoring or inviting no more than four guests at any one time to join them in the entry or use of facilities, unless prior arrangements have been approved by the General Manager or Recreation Director. The General Manager and or Recreation Director may, at their discretion, allow more than this number depending on the conditions at the time, current use of the facilities and circumstances.

GILCREASE HILLS SWIMMING POOL RULES

HOMEOWNERS & GUESTS MAY BE SUSPENDED FROM USE FOR VIOLATION OF ANY OF THESE RULES, FAILURE TO FOLLOW DIRECTIONS OF LIFEGUARDS, OR MISBEHAVIOR.

1. HOMEOWNERS NOT IN POSSESSION OF AN GHHOA ID CARD WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE POOL. ALL GUESTS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A HOMEOWNER AT ALL TIMES AND MUST PAY A $2 GUEST FEE. EVERYONE ENTERING THE SWIMMING POOL ENCLOSURE MUST REGISTER.

2. ALL SWIMMERS MUST SHOWER THOROUGHLY BEFORE ENTERING POOL.

3. PERSONS WITH OPEN WOUNDS, BANDAGES, SKIN ERUPTIONS OR COMMUNICABLE DISEASES WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE POOL.

4. CHILDREN 6 YEARS OF AGE AND UNDER MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT.

5. THERE WILL BE NO RUNNING, PUSHING, TOWEL SNAPPING, WRESTLING OR HORSE PLAY IN OR AROUND THE POOL.

6. SWIMSUITS ARE REQUIRED, UNDERGARMENTS AS SUITS ARE NOT ALLOWED.

7. NO SOMERSAULTS OR BACK DIVES OFF THE EDGE OF THE POOL.

8. INFLATABLE OBJECTS ARE ALLOWED AT THE DISCRETION OF THE LIFEGUARDS.

9. BABIES MUST WEAR PLASTIC PANTS WITH ELASTIC LEG BANDS OVER THEIR DIAPERS.

10. CHILDREN WHO CANNOT SWIM WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN DEEP WATER.

11. NO PROFANITY, IMPROPER BEHAVIOR OR VULGAR REMARKS.

12. FIGHTING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.

13. NO UNSEEMLY PUBLIC DISPLAY OF AFFECTION.

14. NO ANIMALS OR PETS WITHIN THE POOL ENCLOSURE.

15. GLASS CONTAINERS ARE NOT ALLOWED WITHIN THE POOL ENCLOSURE.

16. NO ALCOHOL OR TOBACCO ALLOWED WITHIN THE POOL ENCLOSURE.

17. NO DIVING IN LESS THAN 5 FEET OF WATER.

18. ALL CONCESSIONS MUST BE CONSUMED BEFORE ENTERING THE WATER.

19. NO RADIOS OR WALKMANS WITHIN POOL ENCLOSURE.

TENNIS COURT RULES & REGULATIONS

The GHHOA tennis courts may be reserved for a 90 minute time increment by calling the Clubhouse. Any person or their partner may not reserve more than one consecutive slot.

Persons reserving courts must show up for court use within 15 minutes of reservation. The court is open after this time.

Tennis court lights may be used by homeowners for night play both during and after Clubhouse hours. If a homeowner wishes to use the lighted courts after the Clubhouse closes for the evening, they must notify the Clubhouse Assistant before the Clubhouse closes. The lights are set by timer and can be left on no later than 11:00 p.m.

Private lessons must be arranged around non-prime hours.

All play is limited to 90 minutes if people are waiting.

No use of the backboard is allowed if people are waiting to play.

No individual practice during prime time hours.

No bare feet or street shoes.

Proper tennis etiquette must be observed at all times.

Skate boards, roller skates, roller blades or bicycles are not allowed on courts, unless approved in advance by the Social & Recreation Director.
